Lea is an attorney in Valparaiso practicing mediation, divorce and family law.
She is a solo practitioner. Lea was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She emigrated from Canada in 1981. Lea received her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science, from Valparaiso University, magna cum laude, in 1998 with majors in both philosophy and psychology. I received my Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2001, with a concentration in Alternate Dispute Resolution.
Lea has been a member of AFCC since 2013. She is currently a Board Member and serves as Secretary and Membership Chair of the Indiana Chapter. She is also a registered Mediator, Guardian ad litem, Parenting Coordinator, and is trained in the Collaborative Law practice method. Lea encourage an amicable and cooperative approach to family law matters.
Lea feels her involvement in AFCC has provided her access to a network of professionals who share and support her philosophy. Being a member of AFCC helps keep Lea up to date and well informed with issues relevant to her daily work.
