Introduction to Therapy and Assessment in Family Law Workshop Registration
Breakfast and lunch will be served
About the workshop: There is a pressing and growing need in Indiana for therapeutic and assessment services for parents and children involved in family court litigation. We believe that this practice area is stimulating and satisfying, and we hope to attract interested practitioners. The workshop is presented by two experienced family law attorneys and a clinical psychologist with over ten years of experience in providing services in family court cases. We will cover introductory material regarding custody evaluations, brief focused assessments, and parental fitness evaluations, as well as reunification therapy, coparent coaching, and individual therapy for adjustment problems related to post-divorce disputes. We will also provide plans and policies for protecting your practice from malicious or frivolous complaints. This workshop has been reviewed and approved by the APA Office of Continuing Education in Psychology to offer CE credits for psychologists. APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
